Why we do what we do...
It’s important to understand where we’re coming from with the software we write. ZippyRippy and ZippyConverter were born out of one idea that media should be consumed to your taste. We have iPods and other devices which are capable of supporting various kinds of media on the go, it’s just the matter of how you obtain your media. 99% of us get our media from legitimate sources like DVD’s, CD’s and downloadable files, once you buy it it’s yours to do with as you please as long as you don’t infringe the copyright of the original author or performer. So free your media by ripping a DVD for your iPod, or mix and match different titles from DVD’s into one DVD of your own mix. As new formats come down the line ZippyRippy and ZippyConverter will be there to make sure the media you have is truly yours to do with as you please.
