Use: Before you insert your favorite DVD for ripping, open ZippyRippy and select which formats you want to convert for. By default the Apple Devices box is selected which will convert the DVD for iPods, iPhones, AppleTV’s and iPad’s. Choose your desired destination for the file and choose whether you want to add the file to iTunes, have the disc ejected and quit ZippyRippy when complete. Click “Save” and quit ZippyRippy. If you’re set the system to launch ZippyRippy to launch on DVD insert then insert your DVD and watch it go. Plus to make life easier and your iTunes library cleaner we get information from IMDB and high quality poster artwork from MoviePosterDB.com so it can look great in XBMC, Front Row or AppleTV.

If you want to archive your DVD’s ZippyRippy will be your best friend. We will make an ISO image for backup or archive. Have your kids scratched up the DVD’s, as long as you’ve backed them up with ZippyRippy, burn them another copy. Have you lost a disc but have the DVD box? As long as you’ve backed them up, burn another copy.

If you’re interested in having it all happen for you in one session, just click all the checkboxes, you’ll then end up with a version compatible with app Apple devices, a rip of the main feature to another DVD suitable for car DVD players or just to prevent seeing previews or navigating menus, and one archived version packaged as an .iso disk image for backup purposes.
